    Your natural gas meter indicates the number of cubic metres (m³) of natural gas that passed through the meter (consumption). This value is converted into kilowatt hours (kWh) using the conversion factor. Kilowatt hours are the standard unit of measure for energy. The conversion factor is not always the same. It is influenced by pressure, air pressure, temperature and altitudinal range. The factor value is typically between 10 and 12.
